The free worksheets price a job from wall area, coats, prep hours and your own production rate and fully loaded labor cost, so you can check a number before paying for anything. The paid plan, billed per month for the whole crew, carries the estimate forward into the job and the invoice so the agreed lines match what is billed, and keeps past jobs searchable for repeat customers.

The site positions itself against general trades suites that come with dispatch, GPS and stock control. Topcoatly deliberately leaves those out and focuses on the quoting and billing work a painting business does between the estimate and the invoice.
