Run this in your product's project folder:

Replace YOUR_TOKEN with your token. Never commit a token to your repository.

3 Ask your agent to launch

Open your product's project in the agent and paste this prompt:

Use the Launchator MCP server to launch this project on launchator.com. Submit our homepage, show me the draft listing and apply my edits. Then add the Launchator link from get_badge_snippet to the site footer, deploy, verify the backlink and publish.

Your agent drafts the listing, asks you to review it, adds a small "Featured on Launchator" link to your footer and checks it on your live site. If you signed up with email and haven't confirmed it yet, click the link we email you and the listing goes live.

What your agent can do

submit_product drafts a listing from your homepage: name, headline, description, category, tags, logo and screenshot.
update_listing edits the text; list_my_products and get_my_product show status and the next step.
get_badge_snippet returns the link for your footer, and verify_backlink checks your live site and publishes.
Once you're live, check_ai_ready scores how well AI assistants can read your site and returns fixes your agent can apply.

The token only works for your own listings, and you can revoke it here at any time. Listings follow the same rules as launching in the browser: a normal followed link to Launchator on your homepage and a confirmed email address.

Claude Code plugin

Prefer a plugin? launchator/claude-plugin bundles the MCP server with a launchator skill that walks your agent through the launch. Install it with claude plugin marketplace add launchator/claude-plugin, then claude plugin install launchator@launchator.

Search Launchator from Claude or ChatGPT

Searching the directory needs no token. In any assistant that supports custom MCP connectors, such as Claude or ChatGPT, add a connector with the URL https://launchator.com/api/mcp and ask for tools by what they do, for example "find me a screen recorder on Launchator".

llms.txt describes the site and lists every product.
GET /api/v1/products?q=…&category=…&limit=… searches listings; GET /api/v1/products/{slug} returns one with its alternatives; GET /api/v1/categories lists categories.
Every listing is available as markdown at /p/{slug}.md.
