SMS Launcher

About SMS Launcher

SMS Launcher is built for people who want email messages to reach their phone as text messages. It gives you a unique email address tied to your phone number, so any email sent to that address is forwarded as an SMS notification.

The service states that it works with all email clients and email providers, and that delivery is instant. Setup is a short process: enter a phone number, receive the custom address, and start getting texts. The site describes the gateway as free with no subscription or credit card required, and says there is no limit on the number of messages.

What sets it apart, according to the homepage, is its simplicity: no app to install and no account setup beyond providing a phone number. It suits anyone who wants important alerts from email to show up on a phone without checking an inbox.
