Cyanote

About Cyanote

Cyanote is a desktop app for people who currently juggle separate tools for notes, to-dos, scheduling, habits and copied text. It brings them into a single window: notes with slash commands, tables, sub-pages and wiki-links, a task list with a Kanban board, a calendar, habit streaks, timed routines with a Pomodoro timer, and a system-wide clipboard manager.

The app is local-first. All data stays on the user's computer, with no account to create and no sync service. It works offline, and the Mac version only checks its licence key on first launch. Full-text search covers every note, and fifteen built-in themes can be customised.

Pricing is the main difference from subscription apps. Cyanote is a one-time $7.99 purchase for macOS 12 or later, with the Windows 10 or later version sold separately through the Microsoft Store. The site includes comparisons with Paste, Notion, NotePlan and others, and states that the Mac version has a fourteen-day refund window.
