Sacristo is a money record for churches with paid staff, aimed at church administrators, business managers, treasurers and bookkeeping volunteers at small and mid-size US churches. It handles payroll with the clergy-specific rules a pastor needs, since a minister is an employee for income tax and self-employed for Social Security, and the housing allowance must be designated in advance.
The product also works through the annual budget against the giving that actually arrives, month by month, so a church can see early if it is falling behind plan. Tithes and offerings are tracked by household, which lets annual contribution statements be produced from the same record rather than rebuilt by hand each January.
