ReceivableLedger is billing software for small businesses that sell on account and need to know what customers owe. It offers three free tools on the site: a proforma invoice that works out line totals, trade discount, sales tax on the discounted goods and freight before goods ship, a billing statement that moves from opening balance to closing balance for a period, and an invoice tracker that reports outstanding amounts, overdue share and days sales outstanding.

The free tools require no account, card or sign-up, so a business can run the arithmetic for a single document without setting up a company file. The site positions itself apart from full accounting packages, which cover ledgers, payroll and tax returns that this product does not handle.

ReceivableLedger Pro is a paid plan, listed at a flat monthly price for the whole office, that keeps customers, invoices and statements on record, sends reminders, adds a pay link to documents and offers exports. Stripe, QuickBooks Online and Xero connections are listed as Pro features.
