Ppmly is built for the person who keeps a building serviced and has to prove it afterwards, such as a facilities manager at a school, surgery or office, a managing agent with a block to look after, or a supervisor who books engineers and keeps the paperwork. It starts with a free PPM check sheet that works out, from the assets on site and the checks each one needs, how long a visit takes, how many defects it is likely to raise and what a year of planned maintenance comes to in hours. No account or card is needed to use it.

The paid Ppmly Pro plan keeps the asset register, the maintenance schedule those assets sit on, and the completed visits that answer the questions insurers, auditors and landlords tend to ask. Each visit is dated and recorded against the asset it was done on, and the data can be exported at any time.

The site focuses on planned preventative maintenance rather than reactive work orders, so it is aimed at a single person looking after a building or a small portfolio, not at a maintenance team running a full CMMS with parts and stores.
