Estimate your federal tax savings from overtime pay

About OvertimeWise
OvertimeWise is a calculator for hourly workers who want a quick estimate of the federal income tax savings from the no tax on overtime deduction for tax years 2025 and 2026. You enter your hourly rate, weekly overtime hours, filing status and annual income, and the tool estimates the FLSA-required premium that can be deducted, after applying the annual limit and income phaseout.
The site is aimed at employees who want to understand how much of their overtime qualifies, rather than assuming the whole paycheck is tax-free. It explains the calculation, the MAGI phaseout, and how qualified overtime appears in W-2 box 12, code TT. Each result shows its assumptions so users can check them against their payroll records.
No signup or Social Security number is needed, and the numbers stay in the browser. The site presents itself as an educational estimate rather than tax advice and points users to IRS and U.S. DOL sources before filing.
