NetPay Atlas is a free paycheck calculator for workers and employers who want to see take-home pay before it lands. It covers 12 states plus New York City and Yonkers, and it works from salary or hourly inputs, with W-4 settings, pre-tax and after-tax deductions, and pay frequencies from weekly to monthly.
It estimates federal income tax using IRS Publication 15-T for 2026, state withholding such as California EDD Method B, and Social Security, Medicare and state payroll premiums like CA SDI. The output shows per-paycheck, monthly and yearly net pay, a breakdown of where each dollar goes, and comparisons with other states.
The site says all calculations run in the browser, with no signup, no email and no ads inside the calculator. It also publishes accuracy tests against sample paychecks from another calculator. Results are planning estimates, not tax advice, and payroll settings can change a real paycheck.
