About Morse Code Translator

Morse Code Translator is a free web tool for people learning Morse code, amateur radio operators and puzzle fans who want to convert text into dots and dashes, or decode Morse back into readable text. It works in the browser with no sign-up or software to install, and updates the translation as you type.

Beyond plain conversion, the tool plays Morse as audio with adjustable sound type, pitch, volume and sending speed, and can show the signal as a visual light indicator or phone vibration. Users can loop messages in a repeat mode, export audio as MP3 or WAV, generate random practice messages and see character and signal counts. Translation from picture and audio inputs is available through companion pages.

What sets it apart is its focus on practice. Beginner-friendly options such as slower speeds and Farnsworth timing help learners recognize characters by sound, and the site also includes a chart, word lists and a blog with tips for building Morse skills.
