Monkey Typing is a browser-based typing test for anyone who wants to measure and improve how fast and accurately they type. It works on desktop keyboards and on mobile, with no download or sign-up required.

Users can run timed tests from 15 seconds to five minutes, or choose word, quote and custom modes, with easy, medium and hard difficulty. Options such as punctuation, numbers, advanced words and zen mode adjust the challenge. Each run reports gross and net WPM, accuracy, errors and consistency, and the site highlights the most-missed keys. Urdu and Spanish tests are also available.
