Marco
Private, offline-first email client with no AI writing
About Marco
Marco is an email client for people who want to keep their inbox human. It connects Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud and any IMAP account in one place, and gives full access to your mail without an internet connection on Mac, iPhone and the web.
The app is built around privacy rather than engagement. It has no ads, no email trackers and no data mining, and emails are encrypted with AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.2+ in transit. Marco also deliberately leaves out AI drafts, rewrites, summaries and replies, so the words you send are your own.
Basic tools include turning an email into a task with a due date, snoozing messages to return later, and syncing across devices. Marco is free forever, and the company says an optional Pro plan, not yet available, will fund the product.
