About Lumi
Lumi is an expense tracker for iPhone aimed at people who want their spending recorded without typing. Every Apple Pay tap is sent to the app with the merchant, amount and a category chosen by AI, and a personal automation in Shortcuts can handle the logging through Back Tap. Voice input lets users say an expense in a casual sentence, and Lumi splits multi-item sentences into separate entries.
Beyond logging, the app shows balances across currencies, a map of where payments were made, weekly income and expense breakdowns, per-category budget limits with live progress, and savings goals. An AI spending forecast estimates where the month will end. The site says there is no bank login required and that data stays on the device, and it works offline.
Lumi is free to start, with a paid Pro tier adding unlimited receipt scans, budgets, full multi-currency support, advanced analytics and exports. It is available on the App Store for iOS 16 and later, with an Android version in beta.
