About Drivance
Drivance is a mileage tracking app for self-employed professionals and gig drivers in the U.S. who need clean records for their taxes. It records drives in the background while you drive, so there is no need to start a trip manually, and it keeps a detailed route trace for each drive that you can review later.
After tracking, you mark each drive as business or personal, with unclassified business drives showing estimated deductible values to help you decide what to sort first. Each drive is calculated using the IRS mileage rate for its tax year, so figures stay consistent from year to year.
What sets it apart is the focus on tax-ready records: you can view your mileage stats and export the log to Excel for a CPA or tax software. The interface is deliberately minimal and black-and-white, built for careful record keeping rather than distraction. A free plan covers up to 40 drives per month, with paid plans offering unlimited drives.
