ChatSweep
Bulk delete or archive loaded ChatGPT conversations
About ChatSweep
ChatSweep is built for ChatGPT users whose sidebar has filled up with old conversations and who want to clear it faster. It is a Chrome extension that adds checkboxes beside the chats already loaded in the ChatGPT sidebar, so you can select a batch, review it, and then delete or archive everything in one confirmed step.
What sets it apart is its focus on care. The conversation you are viewing stays protected, nothing is deleted without confirmation, and the tool pauses if ChatGPT's page controls cannot be verified. Archiving is offered as a gentler option that moves chats out of the sidebar while keeping their contents.
Chat titles and message contents stay in the browser, while account, plan and activation checks run on the company's server. The free plan allows one cleanup a day for up to 10 chats, with paid Pro and Lifetime plans removing those limits. ChatSweep is an independent extension and is not affiliated with OpenAI.
