About Browsely

Browsely is an AI browser extension for people who do most of their reading, research and writing in the browser. Instead of copying text into a separate chatbot, users highlight content on a page and turn it into summaries, rewrites or action items without leaving the tab. It is aimed at knowledge workers, marketers, students, support and sales teams, and developers who want help while reading docs or issues.

The extension offers a sidebar that keeps a running chat with the full context of the current page, along with inline tools for selected text and link previews that show what is behind a link before it is opened. Users can export conversations, save prompts they reuse, and move the controls around the screen. Settings sync across devices after logging in.

Browsely positions itself on focus and simplicity rather than a long list of options. It is available for Chrome and Microsoft Edge, with Firefox and Safari support described as in progress, and it currently uses OpenAI models with other providers planned.
