Ashdeck
Chrome new tab Pomodoro timer and site blocker
About Ashdeck
Ashdeck is a free Chrome extension for students, developers, writers, designers and anyone else who loses time to the quick check. It replaces the new tab page with a focus workspace that includes a Pomodoro timer, a to-do list and a built-in website blocker that keeps news, social media and shopping sites out of the way during work or study sessions.
The product aims to make focus the default rather than relying on willpower alone. Users choose which sites to block and when, so distractions are filtered at the moment they would normally open a tab. The site states that it does not monitor, track or share user data, and that blocking choices stay on the device.
Ashdeck is positioned as a lightweight alternative to heavier productivity suites. The homepage also points to a GitHub repository and an affiliate program, and it highlights use cases for people with ADHD as well as those who study or work on a computer.
