Enter a principal, rate and optional extra monthly payment to see the monthly payment, the first month's split between interest and principal, the total paid and the total interest. A 10-year home equity loan worksheet sits alongside it. The worksheets are free and need no account.

The paid tier, Amortlane Pro, is aimed at offices that need a record. It keeps each client's scenarios and schedules, files comparisons against the client, and exports them as PDFs with the office's name and logo and no watermark. Pro also offers reminders and connections to Stripe, QuickBooks Online and Xero, priced at $14 per month for a whole office, billed monthly.

What sets it apart from a lender's own calculator is the purpose: it is built to produce a repeatable, client-ready schedule rather than a single payment figure tied to one lender's products. The site states it publishes no rate of its own and uses a cited survey average for its worked example.
