Hearing Test

About Hearing Test

Hearing Test is a free online hearing screening for adults who want a quick, private check of their hearing sensitivity. It is aimed at people who notice they ask others to repeat themselves, need the TV turned up, or feel one ear is different from the other, as well as music lovers and office workers who want a reference point.

The test runs in the browser using clear tones across the speech frequency range, from 250Hz to 8000Hz, with each ear checked separately. Users calibrate their volume, click whenever they hear a tone, and receive an instant audiogram with a breakdown of results. Separate tests cover a quick screening, a pure tone assessment, speech in noise, and high-frequency range.

The site stresses privacy: the algorithm runs locally, results are not stored on its servers, and nothing leaves the device. It is clear that the test is a screening reference and not a medical diagnosis, so it recommends a licensed professional for any health decisions.
