About PurityRadar

PurityRadar is an independent water-quality lookup for people who want to know what is in their tap water. Enter a US address, city, ZIP code or utility and it returns a personalized safety score from 0 to 100, along with readings for individual contaminants such as PFAS, trihalomethanes, lead, nitrate and arsenic.

What sets it apart is context. Instead of a single snapshot, the reports show how water has changed over the years, list live local advisories such as boil-water notices, and link every figure back to the EPA, USGS or utility record it came from, with the publication date. Homes on private wells get an area risk estimate modeled from USGS data, which many checkers skip.

Beyond the address lookup, the site offers a city directory, rankings of the best and worst scoring major cities, a news feed called Water Pulse, a filter matcher, local provider listings and plain-English guides. It is aimed at homeowners, renters and well owners choosing filters or deciding whether to test their water.
