About Voiden

Voiden is an offline API workspace for developers, QA engineers and technical writers who want API requests, tests and documentation kept together in plain-text files. Requests are stored as .void files inside a Git repository, so they can be diffed, reviewed, branched and merged like source code, with no account and no required cloud sync.

Requests are built from small reusable blocks such as endpoint, headers, auth and params, which can be shared across files like functions. Docs, notes and scripts sit alongside the requests in the same Markdown document, and the same files can run headless in terminals and CI pipelines through the Voiden Runner. REST, GraphQL, gRPC and WebSocket are supported through installable plugins, and existing Postman, Insomnia and OpenAPI collections can be imported.

Voiden also lets AI tools work with a project: Claude Code and Codex can run its requests, and a tool block can expose a request as an MCP tool that agents call over stdio or HTTP.
