About Stackpeek

Stackpeek is a browser extension for people who want to see what a Shopify store is built on. Open any Shopify storefront, click the icon, and it names the theme and version, lists the apps it can fingerprint, and reports the trackers running on the page. It is aimed at merchants researching competitors, agencies and developers scouting stacks, and anyone curious about a store.

The extension reads the storefront's own theme metadata rather than guessing from markup, and it labels customized forks, custom builds and headless storefronts instead of forcing a match. A product export feature can also turn a store's public catalogue into a CSV in Shopify's import format, built in the browser.

It is free, needs no account, and asks for only the page access it uses when you click. Auto-scan is optional and off by default. The source is published under the MIT licence, and the extension sends only the store address and public tech signals to its server.
