About Prepublish
Prepublish is built for YouTubers who write their scripts before filming. Paste a plain-text draft, or upload a video file of up to 5GB to be transcribed, and the tool scores the hook, structure and pacing. A risk map highlights the passages most likely to lose attention, so problems can be fixed while a rewrite is still cheap.
The free check shows the scores, the risk map and a rewrite of the biggest problem, with no login or card required. It also compares the text against 15 categories in YouTube's published guidelines, which is a text-only pre-flight check and not a decision from YouTube. Paid options unlock every rewrite.
Unlike YouTube Studio, which reports audience drop-off only after a video is live, Prepublish reads the script before recording. It judges pacing and structure in the writing itself rather than using viewer analytics.
