Folksee

About Folksee

Folksee is a group video maker for birthdays, weddings, retirements, farewells and thank-yous. The organizer shares a single link, and friends, family or coworkers record short videos from their phone or computer, or upload clips they have already filmed. No app needs to be installed, and no editing is required, since every video plays back in order as one private reel.

It is aimed at people who want a heartfelt group gift without chasing contributors one by one. Organizers can pick from suggested questions for each occasion or write their own, and a recap email arrives when new videos come in. The reel can be watched full screen on a TV or shared on a video call, and the honoree can reply with a thank-you that every contributor sees.

Pricing is per person rather than per minute of video. The first five credits are free without a card, and one credit covers one contributor no matter how many videos they record. Schools, teams and nonprofits can use the same link for classes, offices or donor lists.
