Orgbix is built for the HR or people-operations administrator, office manager or chief of staff at a company of roughly 20 to 500 people who maintains the staff directory and redraws the org chart after every hire, promotion or reorganisation. It is not a payroll or HR suite. It focuses on who works here and who reports to whom, using one record per person.

The site offers three free worksheets: an organizational structure chart planner, an employee directory cost sheet, and a dotted line reporting sheet for matrix reporting. Each returns figures such as the number of layers, the cost of redrawing a chart by hand, or the cost of lookups and standing check-ins.

The paid Orgbix Pro plan is priced at $24 per month for the whole team. It keeps the directory and chart current, shows missing profile fields, draws dotted lines from the same record as solid ones, and keeps every published version of the chart so reorganisations can be compared.
