Lizard
Fast cloud VMs and sandboxes for AI agent code

About Lizard
Lizard is a cloud sandbox service for developers and teams who run AI-generated code, agents, builds, tests and evals at scale. Each sandbox is a Firecracker microVM with its own kernel, so code runs isolated from your own machine. Sandboxes can be started from the Lizard CLI or the TypeScript and Python SDKs, and the site reports a median start of about 228 ms in its own benchmark.
Agents can run many sandboxes in parallel, with a built-in desktop and Chromium browser for opening and testing apps. Persistent Volumes keep files between runs, and managed Postgres, Redis and S3-compatible storage can be shared across sandboxes. Pricing is per second with a Small size listed at $0.0162 an hour, and US East and EU West regions are available.
What sets Lizard apart, according to the site, is its focus on fast starts and low hourly cost for agent workloads, compared with providers such as E2B, Daytona and Modal. Sandboxes run Linux only and CPU only.
