Hopp
Low-latency remote pair programming with shared control

About Hopp
Hopp is a screen-sharing app built for engineering teams that pair program remotely. It is designed for developers who find general meeting tools like Zoom, Slack Huddles or Google Meet blurry, laggy or poorly suited to coding sessions.
Sessions start from the menu bar in one click. Participants can share any application on screen, not only a browser tab, and both sides can take keyboard and mouse control. Shared cursors, on-screen annotations and up to 10 people in one room support code reviews, debugging and mob programming, and the team says streaming defaults to high definition.
Hopp is open source and free to run yourself, and a hosted cloud plan with a 14-day free trial is also offered. It is available for macOS and Windows, with Linux planned.
