About GigPenguin

GigPenguin is built for bandleaders who book gigs and hire musicians for them, including wedding and corporate bands, function bands, church music directors and theatre contractors. Instead of texting every player separately, you fill in a gig sheet with the date, venue, times, dress code and pay, pick the lineup, and press send. Each band member receives their own text or email with a link to a single page that is always current.

The product tracks who has received the sheet, who has opened it and who has seen the latest version, so you can see answers beside each name. When details change, every player is notified of what changed, and they confirm with one tap. Players can also be offered subs when someone cannot make it, and reminders go out each morning to anyone who has not answered.

Band members do not need an app, account or password to use it. The tool also helps find a rehearsal night that works for the group and includes a pay tab that tracks who has been paid, opening your own payment app with the amount filled in. GigPenguin does not move money itself.
