Helicon
Desktop app for Meta's Muse Code coding agent

About Helicon
Helicon is a free, open-source desktop and web app for developers who use Meta's Muse Code CLI and want a windowed experience instead of terminal tabs. It groups projects, sessions, inline diffs, approvals and cost estimates in one interface, and runs on Windows without WSL, macOS and Linux, with a VS Code extension as an alternative.
It works by spawning a local muse serve process per workspace and talking to it through the Muse Code Session Protocol, so approvals and diffs arrive as events rather than being scraped from a terminal. Authentication uses the user's own muse login, and all state is stored locally in SQLite. Sessions started in the terminal also appear in the sidebar and can be resumed.
Helicon is an unofficial community project, MIT licensed and not affiliated with Meta. It uses an existing Muse Code subscription rather than a separate bill, and its cost view estimates what threads would cost at API rates.
