About FocusFR

FocusFR is a free resume builder for engineers, students and job seekers who want an ATS-friendly resume without creating an account. The site says it runs entirely in the browser, asks for no email or payment, and exports clean PDFs with no watermarks.

The builder uses a single-column layout with standard fonts such as Calibri, Arial and Times New Roman, because multi-column templates and text boxes can confuse applicant tracking systems. Users enter roles, measurable outcomes and their tech stack, and the tool formats bullet points using the XYZ impact style.

A job match feature compares a draft against a target job posting to highlight missing keywords and skills, so users can tailor their real experience to the role. The site also includes guides explaining what an ATS is and how to format a resume for parsing.
