FlowBeacon is a pool maintenance app built for two groups: DIY pool owners who look after their own water, and certified pool operators who run commercial or high-traffic pools. Both use the same testing, calculations and record of past visits, while the interface shows each group the amount of detail it needs.

Users enter water test readings and the app works out the chemistry, including how much to dose, and offers calculators for volume, water loss and CSI. Inventory, checklists, reminders and a history of readings over 90 days help track trends. Operators can manage multiple pools from one place.

What sets it apart is that it records more than chemistry. Brushing, backwashing, pump and filter service, photos and notes can all be logged against each visit, so the full history of a pool is kept in order. The app is free for a single pool.
