About FilePulse
FilePulse is a managed file transfer platform for teams that need SFTP or FTP access without running their own servers. It is aimed at engineering and operations teams that exchange files with partners, customers or internal systems.
The service deploys a hosted SFTP or FTP server and connects it to existing S3, Google Cloud Storage or Azure Blob Storage buckets, so files stay in the cloud accounts a company already uses. A virtual filesystem can map several storage backends into one directory structure, and admins can add users and scope their access, with SSH key authentication, IP allowlists and audit logging.
Compared with running OpenSSH or vsftpd yourself, FilePulse handles patching, backups and monitoring. It also offers a self-hosted option for teams that want to keep data in their own infrastructure. The site presents a free trial of 14 days without a credit card.
