DPP Hero is a self-service software tool for manufacturers that need to create digital battery passports under the EU Battery Regulation. It structures product data according to DIN SPEC 99100 in seven guided steps: master data, materials, CO2 footprint, due diligence, circular economy, performance and labeling.

Each published product gets a public page and a downloadable QR code in PNG or SVG format. Suppliers can fill in their own sections through share links without needing an account. Existing data can be brought in by CSV upload or REST API from ERP, PIM, PLM or LCA tools, and passport data can be exported as JSON or PDF. Passports can run under the customer's own domain, so printed codes stay valid if the provider changes.

The product is hosted in EU data centers in Germany and is positioned as needing no IT project. Pricing is based on monthly passport quotas, and a free test passport is available. The site notes that responsibility for content accuracy and regulatory conformity stays with the user.
