Deadhead
Browser-based robotaxi fleet simulator set in Austin

About Deadhead
Deadhead is a free-to-play simulation game that runs in the web browser. Players build and run a small robotaxi business in Austin, starting with $800 and a single day on the clock. The goal is to rent or buy vehicles, put them in service and keep the fleet earning.
The game plays out on a live city map with real satellite tiles and local weather. Players connect to a ride platform, accept ride offers from areas such as Downtown Core, UT Campus, South Congress and the airport, and set fares and dispatch policy. Vehicles need to be sent to charge, and the current electricity price is shown. Other panels cover the books, incidents, messages and trophies, and the simulation can be sped up from 1x to 20x.
Features unlock as you progress, so the game introduces its systems one step at a time. Progress is saved in the browser, and an optional account lets players sync saves across devices. It suits fans of management sims and anyone curious about the economics of autonomous ride-hailing.
