About Codeman

Codeman is a free, open-source web dashboard for people who run several AI coding agents at once. It keeps CLIs such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and OpenCode running in persistent tmux sessions on your own machine, so you can watch and answer each one from any browser, including a phone.

Each agent appears as a live terminal tab with status indicators that show when a session is working, idle or waiting for an answer. A tile view places up to six sessions side by side. Other features include a local echo overlay that reduces typing lag over tunnels, automatic resume after usage limits, idle detection for unattended runs, push notifications, and in-browser previews and editing of files the agents create. Sessions can also run in Docker containers or on another machine over SSH.

Codeman installs with a single command or through npm on Mac, Linux and Windows via WSL. It binds to loopback by default, uses an MIT license, and states that it has no telemetry, accounts or cloud component.
