CalcFence is a set of free online calculators for homeowners and contractors who need to size a fence before ordering material. Enter a total run length, height, post spacing, post size and gate count, and the tool returns the number of posts, rails, pickets or boards, fasteners and concrete bags for wood, vinyl or chain link fencing.

The site is built around a single straight-run calculator with options for enclosed rectangles and multiple runs, plus a worked example that shows how each number is derived. Waste allowances, post burial depth and hole sizing are explained in plain terms, so users can check the math rather than trust a black box.
