About Bash Fighter

Bash Fighter is a free, open source platform fighting game that runs in the browser. It is aimed at players who want quick arena brawls without installing anything, whether they play online, locally on one keyboard, or with a friend.

The goal is to knock other fighters off the arena. Early matches are short timed brawls where players respawn and the most knockouts wins, and an in-match display always shows the current rules. Damage makes a fighter fly farther when hit, so a weakened opponent can be knocked out with a single blow. The arena shrinks as fighters are eliminated, and bots fill empty slots so a match can always start.

The site lists a roster of twenty fighters with distinct roles, such as an all-rounder, a heavyweight, a glass cannon and a long-reach zoner, each with its own weight and move set. A move reference, controls page and replays help new players learn, and the project accepts contributions.
