ApiNotes is built for teams that publish an API and need consumers to stay informed about changes. Developers push an OpenAPI or Swagger spec from GitHub, CI or cURL, and the tool produces hosted interactive docs, a changelog for each version and an email to subscribers when something changes.
Each new spec version is compared with the previous one, breaking changes are flagged, and a changelog entry is published automatically. The docs include request parameters, response schemas, code samples and a built-in try-it console, so there is no separate Postman setup needed.
The product is positioned as a lower-cost alternative to heavier documentation platforms, with a free tier and paid team plans. It also includes a validator, a spec diff tool and a cURL to OpenAPI converter.
