Upwork Wizz is a Chrome extension for freelancers who apply for work on Upwork and want to be more selective about it. It scores each client on job posts, showing payment verification, hire rate, and spend history, so users can skip weak fits before spending a connect. It can also rank search results and create proposal drafts from four different angles.

The tool is aimed at freelancers who feel that mass auto-bidding is hurting their chances. Its drafts are meant to be previewed and edited before anything is sent, and the site says the user approves every send. The extension also includes a panel that checks a proposal against signals Upwork's Uma Recruiter uses to rank applications, such as profile fit, screening answers and timing.

Upwork Wizz works inside the Upwork pages already open in Chrome, with no separate dashboard. It requires a license key and an AI provider key, and users can optionally connect Upwork's official MCP for job search and profile sync.
