The 12 Axes
Free political ideology test across 12 separate axes

About The 12 Axes
The 12 Axes is a free political ideology test for people who want more nuance than a left-right label. It scores each answer across twelve separate political questions, covering government, world affairs, economy and society, so two people who both call themselves left-wing can see where they actually differ.
The test comes in three lengths: a 36-statement mini test, a 60-statement quick test and a 288-statement full test. No sign-up is needed. Results show a score for each axis, the closest of 38 ideologies and famous political figures whose views are near yours. A result card can be downloaded for social media, and a link can be shared to compare scores with a friend.
The site states that it is a reflection tool rather than a scientific instrument, and that answers are not stored on its servers because the result lives in the link itself. It is built on the open-source 12Axes quiz, though the site says it is not affiliated with the original authors.
