About StockedSpots

StockedSpots is a search tool for anglers who want to know which lakes, rivers and ponds have recently been stocked with fish. It pulls publicly published stocking data directly from state wildlife agencies, standardizes it by water, species and season, and keeps the raw source for each record.

Users can search by lake, county or species, browse each state's water list and species breakdown, and review a water's stocking history before heading out. The site currently covers a set of states including Florida, Montana, New York, Washington and Wisconsin.

The project is independent and not affiliated with any wildlife agency. It notes that a stocking record does not guarantee fish are present or legal to harvest, so anglers should check current regulations and the source agency before fishing.
