StemKit
Split YouTube songs or local files into stems on your machine

About StemKit
StemKit is a free, open source desktop app that separates songs into individual stems. Users paste a YouTube link, search YouTube from inside the app, or open a local audio file, then choose which instruments they want to isolate. It is aimed at musicians learning songs, producers who remix and sample, and anyone who wants karaoke or backing tracks.
Splitting runs locally, using an NVIDIA, AMD or Apple Silicon GPU or the CPU, with live progress shown. Output includes vocals, drums, bass and other, with guitar and piano available as optional stems. Presets let people solo or mute an instrument while the video and stems stay in sync during playback. Each stem can be exported as a standard WAV file for use in DAWs such as Ableton, Logic, FL Studio or GarageBand.
The app works on macOS with Apple Silicon, Windows 10 and 11, and Linux x64. It downloads its own engine of about 2GB on first launch, and audio never leaves the user's computer. Local files can be processed offline. The project uses the MIT license.
