About StarTap
StarTap is a free startup directory for founders who want their product listed and seen. Founders add their website, then tap a star to climb an all-time leaderboard, with the top ten shown on the front page where visitors and search engines can find them.
The site borrows the feel of a clicker game, mixing a Product Hunt style listing with game progression such as hiring employees and raising money. It is aimed at indie makers and small teams who want an easy place to launch and be discovered.
Beyond the directory, StarTap offers a set of free SEO tools, including a checker, meta tag generator and robots.txt generator, plus a launch kit with agent skills for a coding assistant. The launch kit is a separate repository that can be installed as a Claude Code or Codex plugin and connects to StarTap's own MCP server.
