About NotScare

NotScare is a database for horror fans who want to know when the scares arrive before they press play. It covers more than 9,200 horror movies and over 140 series, listing jumpscare timestamps and intensity ratings from no jumpscares up to extreme.

The site suits viewers who get anxious during horror films, as well as anyone who wants to plan a watch with some control. Visitors can filter by content and trigger warnings, compare movies by jumpscares, ratings and runtime, and browse trending or upcoming titles. Users can also import a watchlist, track what they have watched and earn points for activity.

NotScare sets itself apart by focusing on precise scare timing rather than general reviews. It is available as an app on iOS, with an Android version listed as coming soon, and it offers a community section where users can request titles and vote on features.
