About NoMac
NoMac is a cloud rental service that gives AI agents a real Mac when they need one. It is aimed at agents and the developers who run them, especially those building and shipping iOS apps. An agent boots a short-lived, disposable macOS session over MCP, the CLI, the API or SSH, works on the machine, and releases it when the job is done.
Each session comes with Xcode and common developer tools preinstalled, full root access, and an iOS Simulator with screenshots and screen recordings. The agent can also handle signing, TestFlight uploads and App Store review submissions. An encrypted 20 GB drive can persist between sessions, and API keys are stored once and made available to every Mac without passing through the chat.
Unlike a Mac you own or lease long term, NoMac bills by the minute at a pay-as-you-go rate from a prepaid credit that never expires, with no subscription. The company describes the sessions as short-lived and disposable, so the agent can start and stop machines as often as needed.
