HermesAIBox is a prebuilt, self-hosted Hermes AI agent device for people who want their own agent running at home or in a small office without assembling the environment from scratch. It is built on an Orange Pi 5 single-board computer with an 8-core CPU, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and it is sold as a complete package with power supply, aluminum case and SSD.
The box is meant to run continuously on your own hardware rather than on rented cloud infrastructure for the agent runtime. Users can reach it through a web interface, a command line, Telegram and other channels, and the device includes full terminal access, a visual file browser and a live browser view. A private SearXNG search instance is included for controllable web lookup.
What sets it apart is the choice of model access: you can bring your own API keys for providers such as Claude, OpenAI or Gemini, or use the preinstalled CLIProxyAPI. The seller positions it as a dedicated device rather than a repurposed laptop, with setup already done.
