Noise Remover is built for podcasters, YouTubers, interviewers, teachers and anyone who records speech next to fans, traffic, wind or a busy room. It takes background noise out of the voice in a video or audio file and saves a cleaned copy without the file ever being uploaded, because all processing runs inside the browser tab on the user's own computer or phone.

The workflow starts with a free preview of any 30 seconds, where users can switch between the Original and Cleaned versions before committing to the whole file. A strength slider, a hum filter for 50 or 60 Hz buzz and a volume levelling option give more control over the result. Video files keep their picture untouched, since only the sound track is processed.

The tool is a small independent project that uses the open-source DeepFilterNet3 model and ffmpeg.wasm. It is best at steady noise such as fans, air conditioning and hum, handles traffic and room rumble less perfectly, and is not designed for music or for separating overlapping voices.
