NameSoul
Chinese name with past-life identity and guardian beast
About NameSoul
NameSoul is a mobile app for people who want a Chinese name that feels personal rather than a plain translation. It is aimed at anyone curious about Chinese culture, from those choosing a name for themselves to people who want a keepsake or tattoo idea.
After a user enters their name, the app builds a set of results: a past-life figure drawn from Chinese history, a personal seal, a zodiac totem, a guardian beast, a name brushed in ink calligraphy, and a lucky color. Surnames are presented with their origins and the app writes them in Small Seal script.
What sets it apart is the blend of history and personalization rather than dictionary lookup. The app is available in ten languages and is offered on the App Store, with a free trial of its premium tier mentioned on the site.
