MONARC PRO is a native video editor for macOS and Windows aimed at creators, editors and small studios who want AI help without losing control of the cut. Users describe the edit they want, and the built-in assistant assembles it on a regular multitrack timeline where every clip can still be trimmed, moved or undone.

The editor runs on the user's own machine and is free to use, including 4K export on every plan. It covers timeline editing, color grading with LUTs, chroma key, stabilization, tracking, transitions, effects, screen recording and local transcription. Captions are available in more than 99 languages, including Hinglish and other Indian languages, and can be burned in or exported as SRT or VTT.

Paid plans add monthly credits for server-side generation such as images, video, music and voiceover, plus cloud storage. The assistant can search footage by what is said or shown, and editing tools are also exposed over MCP so agents like Claude or Cursor can edit the timeline directly.
