Migrate My AI Chat is a free Chrome extension for people who switch between AI assistants and are tired of rebuilding context by hand. It lets you carry an active conversation from ChatGPT to Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek and several other platforms, with the full thread of messages intact rather than a pasted summary.
The extension adds a floating Continue On button to supported chat pages, so you pick a destination and keep working where the new assistant picks up. Conversations can also be exported to formats such as Markdown and JSON, and paid tiers add bulk export, Notion and Obsidian delivery and a token compressor.
Its main difference is privacy: processing happens entirely in the browser, with no accounts or server uploads, so chat data never leaves the user's machine. That suits developers and researchers who work with sensitive material and want portability without handing their history to another service.
